Cruising to Fort William on a summer day...

If I got another Mz, it would be a four stroke. Or I would make it one. If it was a TS,
I would put a half decent disc brake front end on it, and put one of my many Ar 125 engines and wiring loom on it and have some fun. In Scotlands back roads.. As they say ' where the is a Willie, there is a way ' .

So i've dug the plate out that I have spare.. Which I do believe came with a TS250 wheel (but i've no way to tell, that wheel has been sold).

It is 22-24-278.

Is this the correct one that is needed? Though the 'inbuilt' spacer on the outter side doesn't look as long as those I've seen on-line, but according to the sheets I see, they look interchangable to a certain extent. Anyway, I'm not sure the spindle accross these models are the same diameter- I imagine they are, but I measured it anyway and it is 14.95mm.

Looks the same as my one. Mines was polished. But the inside just looked like this one. Can't remember off hand what the numbers on the inside were. Can't be that far off though

If this is the part he is taking about. He knows where you are.

I've noticed that this part has been lost or discarded from many TS bikes, and replaced by a spacer. Does anybody know why? Is it a styling thing or functional, or do they just get separated from the wheel in storage?

I wonder is it just as rusty. Or is it reconditioned. And only needs a seat, barrel and hubcap. Over to you Meph.
