Service Manual for Skorpion

Postby JSC_SLP » Sat Mar 11, 2006 10:04 pm

I assume the Baghira would share the same manual as I believe they share the same engine.

I have looked at several dealerships and Clymer.com as well. It seems no one has a service ,anual that applies to the Skorpion. Does anyone have a good manual that you like or what do you do when the time for maintenance comes around? :smt101

I have a copy of the Yamaha SZR workshop manual and a genuine MZ one as well. The MZ manual basically a photo copy of the relevant pages of the Yamaha one, with a few photos changed where the MZ logo is on the bike.
Copies of the SZR660 manual can be purchased on teh UK version of ebay quite cheaply.
Be aware that there is NO manual for the chassis of these bikes.

Awesome, Thanks Keith. I should've known E-Bay would come to the rescue, that place is phenomenal.

Hey J! I live over in CLUTE !! Just bought a 97 Traveller.....I love it ! I just took my bike up to 'Lil Colorado'...all through Medina, Leakey...had a great time! Butt got sore, though, gotta put some more foam on that saddle. Is there a Texas MZ club? If not, maybe we should start one.
Later, Gary

Hey MrShitake, dont mean to high jack this thread but I have a2002 Traveller also but I bought a Russel all day saddle last year from a fellow member and it is fantastic! I also bought a Gustafson windshield 4" taller, great in function not so good on fitting but workable.
