slipping clutch

some times wheb heavy abused my cluch slips, is this normal or does it needs to bee changed? what costs a set of plates and maybe stronger springs, anyone got stiffer springs in ther cluch?

make sure the freeplay in the cable is ok after the clutch is heated up, a missadjusted cable can cause the clutch to slip. stiffer springs might help, but probably too much disk wear already....

New clutch pack time!, Dont forget to get the gasket required to replace the original one that will be wasted during the operation. Might as well get a oil filter also and some Motorex race oil too.
Galen@Bikeworx(.com) USA should have what you need.

P.S. you can replace 1/2 of your stock springs with the race versions, the full race is hard on the hands if you get stuck in traffic

ok wil do can i change it while engine still mounted? what would a cluch cost, i 'm from belgium so its euro"s

The clutch can be changed with the engine in the frame. I have removed this cover on my bike in the past.
