Heard the misfire when it was going from Paddock up to Druids-any idea yet what caused of it? Watched that race because the MZ was in it, as well as Rob's mate (Jamie Hamilton from N.Ireland) was just ahead of the MZ on his CB 500. Jamie is just so fast-riding his 675 Triumph (bog standard). In the open race he came from the back of the grid to finish 4th. Not too shabby for a 15 year old-a name to watch, and a nice kid too.

I'll pop over to the workshop as soon as I am able to-hopefully soon!

Yeh the misfire was a pain in the ass, would have done the CB if it didn't happen, think it was the plug breaking down. Jamies a good rider, i agree a definate name for the future. See ya soon mate!

Me mad, Why. If its acceptable to take a perfectly good enduro bike, and put road rubber on it, why not knobblies on a road bike :)
Actually I only did it for a laugh (which worked well I think) and the MX trackday was a challenge from a firnd. Something along the lines of
'Well I done seen about everthing, when I see an elephant fly Or a goldwing come to that) '
And before anyone asks, yes I would do it again, brillaint day out, but I did have to restrict my time on the track to 3-4 laps at a time, due to poor handle bar choice (low renthal bars, I need higher ones).
Oh and if you think I'm nuts, my son took his XR650R Honda, with road tyres, out on the same track.
